Frisk smak med "torr" sötma. Vinet uppträder utvecklat men samtidigt lite spretigt och oharmoniskt med rejält botrytispådrag och ointegrerade kemiska toner. Frukten är ljuvlig med aprikoser, apelsiner, honung och gula russin. Gott och intressant men det slutgiltiga lyftet kommer aldrig riktigt.

The first two passes, from 25th September to 1st October produced particularly concentrated, elegant musts in keeping with the previous vintage (2007). The third pass, on the 6th and 7th of October, yielded must that showed much more traditional concentration and balance. It took two weeks before we could go out picking again thanks to a new burst of botrytis from the 20th to the 26th. Although rather cool temperatures did not enable the grapes to attain the sugar levels of the first passes, the aromatic expression came through even more perceptibly. There then remained only a few bunches here and there. These were not of acceptable quality and were removed and left on the ground on 6th November during a lull in the very wet weather during the first two weeks of that month.
